- 1 cup soya chunks
- 1 cup curd / yogurt, thick
- 1/4 tsp turmeric / haldi
- 1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder / lal mirch powder
- 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tbsp biryani masala powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- ½ carrot, chopped
- 1 small potato, cubed
- 1/2 capsicum, cubed
- 1/2 onion, petals
- OTHER INGREDIENTS:
- 2 tbsp+ 1 tsp ghee / clarified butter
- 1 bay leaf / tej patta
- 1 inch cinnamon / dalchini
- 1 star anise
- 5 cloves / lavang
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp cumin / jeera
- 4 cardamom / elachi
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 1/2 cup basmati rice, soaked
- ¾ tsp salt
- 3 tbsp fried onions / barista
- 1/2 tsp biryani masala powder
- as required Food colour orange and green
- As required Kewda water
- 3 tbsp coriander & mint, chopped
- 2 1/4 cup water

- 1. firstly, marinate vegetables and soya chunks in curd along with spices.
- 2. in a pressure cooker heat 2 tbsp ghee and saute spices.

- 9. Switch off the flame and cool down to release the pressure.
- 10. Whem pressure release add the food colour orange and green with kewda wateramd cover it and keep aside for 2-3 minutes.
- 11. finally, serve the soya biryani along with mirchi ka salan or raita.
