- Thoroughly wash and soak rice in water for half hour.
Take 4 glasses of tap water in a pan, and 2 tbsp. of cooking salt and soaked rice. Boil on high flame till rice is nearly cooked.
Sieve the boiled rice and keep aside.


- In a separate pan, fan onions in hot oil/ghee till golden brown.
Now add ginger garlic paste, tomatoes, potatoes, meat, yogurt, green chilies and BOMBAY BIRYANI MASALA 1 packets and fry for 5-10 minutes.


- Now (add 2 glasses of water if you use beef or mutton. Don’t add water if you use chicken) cook on medium flame till meat becomes tender and a little gravy remained.



- Now in a separate pan, arrange alternate layers of cooked meat and boiled rice and then simmer.
Mix together rice and meat.


- You can add yellow food colour if required.
Delicious Bombay Biryani is ready. Serve with salad and raita.
