- 1 cup old harvest basmati rice
- 1 onion sliced
- Handful green matar
- 2 green chillies chopped
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 cloves
- 1 cardamom
- 2 paper cons
- 1 small piece of cinnamon stick
- 1/2 teaspoon jeera
- 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
- 4 tablespoons oil
- 1/2 teaspoon of haldi
- 1/2 teaspoon dhaniya powder
- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
- as per taste Salt
Instructions to make to make Gatte ki pulao
- Make a fine powder out of dhaniya and saunf, add this powder into baesan and make a soft dough with the ingredients mentioned for gatte. Give cylindrical shape with help of your palm. Boil 2 cups of water add this gatte in boiling water for 10 minutes.



- After 5 minutes cut those gatte into pieces and shallow fry it with help of 2 tablespoons of oil.



- Take oil in a cooker add chillies, cashew, jeera and all dry spices. After cracking add sliced onion, ginger garlic paste, matar. Fry till onions are became brown. Add basmati rice soaked for 15min



- Then add rice, haldi, red chilli powder, dhaniya powder and salt. Fry this rice for 5 minutes in a low flame, add fried gatte into it, add one full cup and three fourth cup of water add salt cook for 1 whistle.
